The Razer Seiren Mini was announced at Razercon 2020, alongside a whole list of new Razer gaming hardware and peripheral. The Seiren Mini is essentially a more compact version of the original Razer Seiren.
Razer Seiren Mini
The Razer Seiren Mini is an ultra-compact condenser mic that is made for those who are looking for professional grade audio, better streaming audio, or just a better mic for video calls. It features a supercardioid pickup pattern with a tighter pickup angle, that way it can focus on your voice and remove other ambient noise.
Because of its smaller build, the Razer Seiren Mini takes up a lot less desk space and is great for those who don’t have much desk real estate. It’s also more subdued so it won’t show too much of itself in your streams or video calls. But then again, you would want to flex if you have one right?
On the bottom of the Razer Seiren Mini, there’s a tilting stand that is made to be heavy-duty. Users will also be glad to know that the microphone can actually be detached and mounted on a boom arm or mic stand that uses the 5/8-inch thread. You might be wondering if there’s a shockmount, well, Razer built it right into the mic itself. There are shock mounts within the mic to protect against against accidental knocks and bumps.
Connectivity wise, the Razer Seiren Mini can be connected using USB. Just plug it in, and you’re good to go. However, there aren’t any controls on the mic itself, so if you want to adjust the volume levels, you’ll need to do it from the voice chat or streaming software you’re using.
Pricing And Availability
The Razer Seiren Mini is available in three classic Razer colours – Classic Black, Quartz Pink, and Mercury White. The microphone is priced at RM249, and is now available for purchase from Razer’s official online store.
