OPPO today announced the OPPO Enco X, the company’s latest TWS earbuds (True Wireless Bluetooth earbuds). Announced right after the launch of the OPPO Reno 5 series, the OPPO Enco X is the company’s first product that is made in partnership with Danish speaker manufacturer, Dynaudio.
OPPO Enco X

The OPPO Enco X is the company’s latest pair of flagship TWS earbuds, and they feature support for the company’s self-innovated DBEE 3.0 sound system, together with LHDC wireless transmission.
Co-created with Nordic audio giant Dynaudio’s expertise, the OPPO Enco X is the fruit of the collaboration between Dynaudio’s chief acoustic experts as well as OPPO’s in-house acoustics team in Europe’s largest acoustic laboratory. In 2007, OPPO released its first DBEE 1.0 Dynamic Audio technology. 13 years later, OPPO is introducing new materials, a new structure, and new technology in the all-new DBEE 3.0 Sound System.
The OPPO Enco X earphones feature a coaxial dual-driver design, with the front magnetic balanced membrane driver handling high frequencies, while a triple-layered composite dynamic driver in the back controls mid-low frequencies. Paired with parallel dual speakers, and supported by LHDC™ low-latency wireless transmission, users will get to enjoy seamless, high-definition, well-rounded audio with natural depth.
Equipped with a dual-core Bluetooth noise reduction chip, the OPPO Enco X features hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC). Users will have four settings to choose from – Max Noise Cancellation to enjoy the best possible audio experience, Noise Cancellation to soften noise in noisy environments, Transparency Mode to be more aware of your surroundings, and Noise Cancellation Off to turn it off.

When it comes to the microphone, the OPPO Enco X features a triple-mic noise control algorithm. That couple with the built-in microphones within the ear, as well as the deep integration of the dual-mic array on the exterior, this rids call noise after a sophisticated adaptive filter and wind noise detection mechanism. Regardless the type of environment you’re in – windy or noisy – your voice can still be heard clearly in calls.
The OPPO Enco X earphones has the new Binaural Low-Latency Bluetooth Transmission which features greater stability, system-level ultra-low latency optimization, and even stronger latency reduction. Audiovisual synchronisation has been improved, while lagging and connection interference have been further reduced. This allows for more natural media consumption and playback, where nothing is seen or heard as choppy or laggy.

Where battery life is concerned, according to OPPO, users will get to enjoy 25 hours of music playback or 15 hours of call time with the charging case. Without the charging case, users are looking at up to 5.5 hours of music enjoyment or 3.5 hours of call time. When ANC is involved, the OPPO Enco X can last up to 4 hours without the charging case or 20 hours with the charging case.
It is with great pleasure to announce that the OPPO Enco X does come with touch controls. With a simple tap or two, you can easily control your music, and even the volume, right from the earbuds themselves.
Here are the gestures you can control:
- Double-tap control: Double-tap either earpiece to skip to the next song or answer/end a call.
- Slide control: Slide up or down on either side of the earphones to control the volume.
- Press-and-hold control: Press and hold either side of the earphones for 1 second to switch between two selected noise reduction modes (by default, these are Transparency mode and max noise cancellation mode).
- Three-tap control: This control can activate Google Voice Assistant, Apple’s Siri, and Amazon Alexa.

Pricing And Availability
The OPPO Enco X will be available in White and Black, but currently, OPPO hasn’t made any announcement on the pricing and availability yet. We are, however, working on the review so do stay tuned for that on The AXO. We will also keep you updated on when the OPPO Enco X makes its grand debut in Malaysia.
