AMD has announced the Radeon RX 7600 GPU, which serves as an entry-level 1080p gaming card. This came just days after Nvidia announced the RTX 4060 series of GPUs, and the RX 7600 seems to be directly competing in this category, albeit at a lower price point of US$269.
AMD Radeon RX 7600 Features

This new RDNA3 GPU features redesigned compute units with unified raytracing and AI accelerators and second-generation AMD Infinity Cache technology, boasting 32 Compute Units and 32 Ray Accelerators.
GPU Focused on 1080p Gaming

It also features a boost clock of up to 2,655 MHz and a board power of 165W. It also offers 8GB of VRAM. While 8GB is sufficient for most 1080p titles, we are starting to see PC titles that require more than that even at 1080p.
It remains to be seen how it stacks up against the market today, and even cards from the previous generation. However, judging from AMD’s marketing materials, we can say for certain it is aiming for the 1080p gaming sweet-spot segment.
