AMD Announces Ryzen 9 7945HX3D Mobile Processor, First Mobile Processor To Feature 3D V-Cache Technology

AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX3D Launch

AMD has unveiled the latest processor in the Ryzen mobile processor lineup – the Ryzen 9 7945HX3D.

The new processor will feature 16 cores and 32 threads, with up to 5.4Ghz boost clock. It also comes with 144MB of 3D V-Cache, a first for mobile processors, and draws more than 55W TDP.

AMD claims that the new mobile processor is more than 15% faster than the AMD Ryzen 7945HX on average.

This processor will first appear on the ROG Strix Scar 17 X3D, which will be available on 22nd August 2023.
