Samsung Malaysia has unveiled several app optimisations for the company’s line up of foldable smartphones in collaboration with top local organisations and young talent from universities.

The first partners in this initiative are AmBank, Family Mart, Maxis, Pay4U, and ZUS Coffee, leveraging Samsung and Android platform’s capabilities to enrich user experiences on their local apps. During the recent partner sharing session, themed ‘Reimagining Foldables for Malaysians’, they have showcased their respective app optimisations through the use of screen expansion and multi-angle fold usages.
In the coming months, Samsung will be onboarding more partners, including Gigi Coffee, Golden Screen Cinemas, TGV Cinemas and Zapp.
Collaboration with Local Universities to Pitch Foldable App Ideas

Additionally, Samsung aims to collaborate with local universities on a hackathon, where students will pitch app ideas. This is in line with its ESG mission to empower young Malaysian talent and incentivise them to innovate in the tech space.
