Acer Malaysia today announced the arrival of the Predator Triton 17 X, a slim gaming laptop that marries a sophisticated minimalist design with the best components in the market today.

Designed for gamers and professionals looking for a thin mobile workhorse, the Predator Triton 17 X is equipped with a 13th Gen Intel Core i9 and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 with Max-Q technology that can breeze through graphically demanding AAA games and resource-intensive work applications.
Working in tandem is a combination of 64 GB DDR5 RAM (5600Mhz) and 4TB SSD in RAID 0 configuration ensuring seamless multitasking and rapid data access.
Delivering some of the most immersive visuals, the Predator Triton 17 X includes a clear and bright 17-inch WQXGA mini-LED (AmLED) display that supports a blazing 250 Hz refresh rate and meets DisplayHDR requirements with a peak brightness of over 1,000 nits.
It also offers a DCI-P3 100% wide color gamut for vibrant, rich colors and is Eyesafe Certified, providing an always-on blue light protection which reduces 80% of harmful blue light yet maintaining colour performance.
With a height of 19.9mm, the slim Triton 17 X is meticulously crafted and highly portable. It includes a polished, sandblasted texture on its solid metal CNC unibody chassis, a delicate micro-etched RGB Predator logo, stainless-steel speaker mesh, diamond-cut highlights, and strategically placed vents.
Combining powerful components that can go up to 330W Max Power, with Acer’s cutting-edge thermal solutions, the Predator Triton 17 X features a thermal design that incorporates a vapor chamber and Vortex Flow technology that is enhanced by a triple-fan cooling system. This includes two 5th Gen AeroBladeTM 3D fans featuring wind-guiding structures, delivering a 10% increase in airflow compared to its predecessor.
The laptop also employs dedicated heat pipes for processors, strategically positioned intake and exhaust vents, and utilizes liquid metal thermal grease on the CPU for efficient heat transfer and optimizing performance.
The Predator Triton 17 X comes with other premium features including a per-key RGB keyboard, fingerprint reader, and glass touchpad.
