ASUS Unveiled Vivobook 16X with AMD Ryzen 5000 Series CPU; Priced At RM 2,999

ASUS has launched the all-new 2022 Vivobook 16X  (M1603, AMD), a powerful feature-packed laptop with an expansive 16” 16:10 LCD display that reduces the need for scrolling. 

These user-friendly, youthfully styled laptops are powered by the AMD Ryzen^™ 5 5600H six-core processors and include a wide variety of high-quality components and innovative class-leading features that make them suitable for any kind of task. 

Vivobook 16X (M1603)

Along with the powerful CPU, the Vivobook 16X (M1603) features an LCD wide-view NanoEdge display with an FHD+ (1920 x 1200) resolution. The TÜV Rheinland low blue-light certification ensures eye comfort during long viewing sessions. 

The Vivobook 16X (M1603) is distinguished by its feature-packed specifications²that include a physical webcam shield for instant privacy, a full-size ASUS ErgoSense keyboard, and a fingerprint sensor in the touchpad. They also feature ASUS Antibacterial Guard to protect against harmful bacteria.  

The all-new slim and lightweight design of the Vivobook 16X (M1603) is clean and attractive, with fresh new color options – Transparent Silver or Quiet Blue. To ensure maximum performance and keep Vivobook 16X laptop cool in all situations, the ASUS IceCool cooling system uses upgraded dual heat pipes — a rare feature on entry-level laptops — and an IceBlade fan that efficiently accelerates heat transfer.

The 87-blade fan and impeller are made of a liquid-crystal polymer that means they’re lighter and thinner than ordinary fans. In addition, the fan uses a fluid dynamics bearing that’s quieter and has less vibration than an ordinary bearing. The end result is that the mighty CPU can run comfortably at a blistering 45 W total TDP in Performance mode with no throttling.

The full-size ASUS ErgoSense keyboard has a 19.05 mm key pitch, a 0.2 mm key-cap dish, and long 1.4  mm key travel that gives it an incredibly satisfying feel, with the optimum bounce and travel calculated with fine-tuned precision.
