Supercell, Finnish developer for Clash Of Clans has revealed lots of Spring Festival limited time content for the players. To coincide with The Year of The Rabbit, the game will feature elements of the Chinese Zodiac for all players to enjoy.
The Year Of The Rabbit Promotional Video
For the past two years, Clash of Clans had launched promotional videos themed to the auspicious festival, along with Chinese New Year content in the game.
Continuing on this tradition, the developers showcased a promotional animation titled “May The Rabbit Be With You”. In this animation, shadow puppets come to life, integrating many traditional Chinese cultural elements.
Limited Time Skins & Scenery
Clash of Clans will release the Lunar Queen skin for the Archer Queen, combining visual elements of the Chinese Zodiac and the strength of the Archer Queen herself.
In addition, players with the Gold Pass will receive the Warrior Champion skin as the ultimate reward.
The game will also include a limited-time scenery called Magic Theatre, which was featured in the promotional video. It adopts the auspicious red colour as the main tone and Chinese lanterns to recreate the jubilant atmosphere during Chinese New Year.
A themed statue based on the wizard and the rabbit in the promotional video will be added as well, called the Magic Show Statue. Players can expect a seasonal obstacle – the Rabbit Lantern.
All the decorations, scenery and skins will be available in-game during the Spring Festival event, which can be obtained via completing challenges or via purchase.
