The Clash Of Clans Lunar New Year celebration event is finally here, bringing players new skins, content, scenery and decorations.

Magic Theatre Scenery
A new scenery has been added and available for purchase – the Magic Theatre. Based on the Magic Theatre in the promotional video, this limited scenery heavily features bright red tones and traditional Chinese architecture.
At the top right, you will find the shadow puppet show being played on stage too! Not gonna lie, the depiction of Chinese architecture is spot on, the foliage and landscaping too!
The Magic Theatre Scenery can be purchased together with 2.5 million Elixir and 2.5 million Gold for RM34.90.
Lunar Queen Legendary Skin & Warrior Champion Gold Skin
As a continuation of last year’s Lunar King skin, which was based on the tiger Chinese zodiac. this year’s Lunar New Year update features the Lunar Queen skin for Archer Queen.
This is a legendary skin inspired by the rabbit Chinese zodiac. As shown in the promotional trailer, the Archer Queen appears at the end of the video and in her rabbit form – the Lunar Queen.
Players with the Gold Pass will also receive the Gold Skin – Warrior Champion. This Royal Champion skin takes the form of a medieval Chinese soldier wielding a ‘guandao’, a Chinese halberd, and a shield.
The Warrior Champion must be strong to be able to wield the weapon with only one hand. Both skins have their own unique attack animations.
They definitely went all out with the Chinese styling here. It is great to see my own culture being depicted in this medium in an authentic way.
The Lunar Queen skin costs RM44.90 and can be purchased at the Clash Of Clans shop. While the Warrior Champion skin can be obtained as the ultimate reward of the Gold Pass.
Rabbit Lantern Obstacle
Players will also be able to obtain the Lunar New Year themed obstacle: the Rabbit Lantern.
Inspired by traditional Chinese paper lanterns and the rabbit, the obstacle blends both elements into a cute lantern.
Clash Of Clans Lunar New Year Challenge
To celebrate the auspicious festival, Clash of Clans introduced the Lunar New Year Challenge. This challenge requires some interesting strategies and is a lot of fun to play. Getting 3 stars will net you 400 Experience, a Shovel of Obstacle, 888,888 Gold, 888,888 Elixir and 8,888 Dark Elixir (8 is a lucky number for Chinese, so go figure).
After trying my best, I only managed to get two stars. It is very difficult, and if you got three stars, congratulations!
Magic Show Decoration
The titular Magic Show that originally appeared in the promotional video comes to life as a sculpture. It features the magician holding the rabbit on his hands. The decoration can be purchased for RM4.90.
Special Offers
There are also a few limited time offers for Clash of Clans players as well. Starting from RM4.90, players can acquire gold, books, potions and more.
