Vivo has recently announced that the debut of its latest APEX 2020 smartphone will be happening at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020. Vivo’s APEX series smartphone has been known to be the company’s lineup of concept phones that showcase the company’s latest advancement and technologies.
What do we know so far?
It is believed that the Vivo APEX 2020 will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865 processor. That gives it better overall performance, improved graphics, as well as 5G connectivity.
Apart from that, it is rumoured that the device will have a bezel-less waterfall display and an improved screen-to-body ratio. By how much? We’re not quite sure, but we’re guesstimating it could be above 90%.
The device should also be utilising an in-display fingerprint sensor that is expanded to the entire screen. Yes, let that sink in for a bit. Not just one part of the screen, but the whole screen itself.
As for its selfie camera, it could either go with a pop-up camera design or an under-screen camera.
For battery and charging, the Vivo APEX 2020 is believed to have Super FlashCharge 120W that could charge a 4,000mAh phone from zero to 50% in only 13 minutes.
Take this piece of news with a pinch of salt as we patiently wait for Vivo to officially debut the Vivo APEX 2020 in Barcelona on the 23rd of February.
