The Royal Gemilang Cup 2020 has finally come to a close. In conjunction with the Merdeka month, Playtonia Esports Sdn Bhd. held a tournament called The Royal Gemilang Cup 2020 that focused on the game Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege.

The Royal Gemilang Cup 2020 is the 3rd edition of the organization’s Community Cup initiative, right after the Mobile Legends Summer Shield 2020 event last month. Throughout a period of three weeks, over 35 teams, which is more than 200 individual players, went head to head to compete for their fair share of the RM3,400 prize pool.
The Royal Gemilang Cup 2020 Grand Finals were held on the 13th of September 2020, which was streamed live on Playtonia Malaysia’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. The stream was viewed by some 15,000+ viewers, and the entire 3-week event garnered a reach close to 60K+. Sponsoring the Royal Gemilang Cup 2020 is none other than XPG Malaysia, as well as Illegear, two of Malaysia’s prominent gaming hardware and PC brands.
Tom Clancy’s The Rainbow Six Seige is an online tactical shooter PC game title by Canadian game developers, Ubisoft Monstreal, and is published by Ubisoft.
