Microsoft has officially confirmed that it will be debuting the much-anticipated Xbox Series X console in November. Oddly, the company had not mention any specific launch date. The confirmation came along with the announcement of a release delay for Halo Infinite, which is now slated for release sometime in 2021.
Xbox Series X to Launch in November 2020
While not mentioned specifically by Microsoft, we do expect the Xbox Series X to be released sometime during the first week of November. That being said, given current circumstances with regards to the COVID-19 pandemic, the launch may be held further in November instead—perhaps this is why Microsoft hasn’t given a specific date, yet.
Those aside, Microsoft’s announcement may very well mean that Sony will also be looking to launch the PlayStation 5 sometime in November (not confirmed). Either way, 2020 looks to be a great year for both console and PC gamers; despite the unfortunate situation we’re finding ourselves in right now.
