Here at Computex, ASUS has unveiled the ZenScreen Touch – a full HD portable monitor that’s lightweight enough to be carried around easily.
The ZenScreen Touch only comes in a weight of 900 grams, and measures 9mm thin. It’s packed with a huge 7,800mAh battery that ASUS claims could last up to 4 hours. The screen features a responsive 10-point touchscreen that allows the user to swipe, scroll, drag, and pinch.
Apart from giving the user a wider viewing angle, the IPS display on the ASUS ZenScreen Touch also supports the ZenScreen Touch app. This app allows the user to display and control their Android phone’s app. The display also has the virtual Android menu buttons for better navigation when connected to your phone’s display.
In terms of connectivity, the ASUS ZenScreen Touch has a hybrid-signal USB Type-C and USB Type-A. This allows for both video signal as well as power to be supplied over one single cable, ridding the user of the mess of multiple cables. Support for micro-HDMI on the ZenScreen Touch also enables it to be connected to a wide range of portable devices such as gaming consoles, cameras, smartphones, and more.
