After several weeks of teasing, the Realme 6i is finally unveiled in Malaysia. The smartphone is the first to use the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, and to celebrate its arrival, it will have a special one-day only pricing on the 23rd of April 2020. But before that, let’s get into the specs.

Powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor, the Realme 6i boasts on its 201,278 score on Antutu Benchmark. Made for gaming, the Mali G52 1,000MHz GPU delivers 25% more performance. It is also paired with up to 4GB RAM and up to 128GB of storage.
Realme 6i sports a 6.5-inch HD+ mini drop fullscreen that is 30.9% smaller than standard dewdrop notches. This increases the screen-to-body ratio as high as 89.8%, together with a 20:9 aspect ratio.
The Realme 6i has a quad camera system, consisting of a 48MP main sensor with f/1.8 large aperture and 6P lens. On top of that, it also has an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 2MP portrait lens, as well as a 2MP macro lens. On the front, it has a 16MP in-display AI selfie sensor, complete with realme’s exclusive AI Beauty algorithm.
Powered by a 5,000mAh battery, the Realme 6i also supports 18W Quick Charge and reverse charging as well. According to Realme’s internal battery test, the Realme 6i can last for 39 days with the screen off and 40.07 hours with the screen on.
Connectivity wise, it can accommodate two SIM cards and one microSD card with its 3-card slot. Running on its proprietary Realme UI, it is based on the Android 10 platform.
Pricing and Availability
The Realme 6i will have two variants and it will be priced from RM699. It will come in two colours – Green Tea and White Milk. The 3GB RAM variant will launch exclusively online on the 23rd of April, and it will have a special price of RM599 exclusively on Shopee, 12AM. As for the 4GB RAM variant, it will be priced at RM899, and will only be available at all authorised Realme dealers on the 25th of April. If you purchase the 4GB variant on the 25th, you will also be getting an extended 6 months warranty.
