After the launch of the standard version Oppo Reno, Oppo has finally debuted the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom in Malaysia. Do not be deceived by its looks, it might look the same as the standard Oppo Reno, the 10x Zoom version has a lot more going for it.
The first major difference between the two models is that the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom edition comes packed with the inclusion of a 13MP f/3.0 telephoto sensor with dual OIS. This unlocks the Oppo Reno to 10x hybrid zoom as well as 60x digital zoom capabilities. The super wide-angle camera also gets upgraded from a 5MP sensor (standard Oppo Reno) to an 8MP f/2.2 sensor lens.
For the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom’s main sensor, it still maintains the 48MP f/1.7 Sony IMX586 sensor as well as the pop-up 16MP f/2.0 front-facing camera for selfies.
When it comes to performance, this is where the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom shines. It’s powered by a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor complete with 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS2.1-based internal storage as the default configuration.
Apart from having international warranty service, the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom is able to pack a larger 4,065mAh battery that does support the company’s propretary VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology.
In terms of price, the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom will have two colours to choose from – Ocean Blue and Jet Black. The device will retail for RM3,399 and it will be available in stores from 18th June onwards. If customers want to secure their Reno earlier, pre-orders will begin starting today at:
