ASUS Announces 30th Anniversary Edition ZenBook, ZenFone, Motherboard 7

To celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary, ASUS has unveiled a slew commemorative editions of some of their products. This includes the ZenBook Edition 30 ultrabook, ZenFone 6 Edition 30 smartphone, and the Prime X299 Edition 30 motherboard.

ZenBook Edition 30 (UX334FL)

This limited-edition ASUS ZenBook Edition 30 features a Pearl White genuine Italian leather, a complete set of premium accessories that is also layered in Pearl White aesthetics. The accessories are a Pearl White mouse, faux leather box, a mouse pad, and a genuine leather notebook sleeve.

In terms of hardware, the ZenBook Edition 30 packs up to 8th Generation Intel Core i7 quad-core CPUs, Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics, 16GB RAM, PCIe SSDs as well as gigabit-class WiFi. The four-sided frameless NanoEdge display gives it a 95% screen-to-body ratio, which is a lot of screen on such a small device. There’s also the new ScreenPad 2.0 that enhances productivity and multitasking by adding a second screen into your trackpad.

ZenFone 6 Edition 30

This Edition 30 of the ZenFone 6 is pretty similar with the standard ZenFone 6, except for an aesthetic and certain specification upgrade. The back of the phone features the Zen-inspired Aluminium brush design in matte black finish. There’s also an embossed Edition 30 logo on the back.

As for the hardware, it has pretty much everything as the standard ZenFone 6. It still runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 processor, has the NanoEdge all-screen 6.4-inch display, Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection, 48MP Sony IMX586 flip camera, and the 13MP ultra wide-angle sensor. The Edition 30 however, gets the RAM and internal storage upgraded to 12GB and 512GB respectively.

Prime X299 Edition 30

This Edition 30 of the Prime X299 supports Intel’s latest Core X-series high-end desktop CPUs. It has a new flagship 16-stage power solution and enhanced cooling for processors to achieve its maximum potential. There’s also two M.2 slots built-in with passive heat sinks, dual Thunderbolt 3 ports, built-in 5G Aquantia Ethernet, as well as WiFi 6.

Besides that, the Prime X299 Edition 30 has two LiveDash OLED displays. One is to display system stats like, clock speeds, temperatures, and voltages. Another is included in the Smart Control Console, which is an external module that connects via USB and has a stand that lets it sit on top of typical monitors. The Smart Control Console also offers voice and hand gesture controls.
