Realme has announced the launch of their latest smartphone in the C Series lineup, the realme C55. The company touts the latest addition as a “champion of the segment” featuring a 64MP main camera, 256GB storage and 33W fast charging.
Four Segment-First Upgrades For Realme C55
Realme C55 is the first C series product to be equipped with a 64MP main camera, along with an 8MP selfie camera and a 2MP B&W lens.
Compared to its predecessor, the C35, the C55 has a larger OV64B sensor found on the realme GT Master Edition, offering improved clarity and resolution.
The device also comes with up to 16GB of dynamic RAM, and 256GB of ROM, offering the largest storage in the segment. Users can also expand their storage with up to 1TB microSD memory expansion.
The C55 also improves on battery life with a large 5,000mAh battery and 33W SUPERVOOC charging.
The device is available in two colours: Sunshower and Rainy Night. It also features a thin 7.89mm body, which is the thinnest in the segment. Users will be delighted by the 6.72-inch FHD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Android’s First Mini Capsule
The realme C55 features Android’s first Mini Capsule, which can adapt to the display and wrapped around the punch-hole camera cutout. It can also display various colours, such as different lighting colour for different battery statuses.
