MSI Adds Support For Up To 192GB RAM For Intel 700 Series Motherboards

MSI Adds 192GB RAM Support

MSI announced today the company will add support for 48GB and 24GB DDR5 non-binary across Intel 700 and 600 series motherboards, including MEG, MPG, MAG and Pro series product lineup. With this support added, the maximum memory capacity is increased to 192GB for motherboards with 4 DIMM slots, and 96GB for those with 2 DIMM slots.

No BIOS Update Needed For MSI Motherboards

Configuration using Intel i9-13900K and MPG Z790 CARBON WIFI

The company also confirmed that users do not have to update the motherboard BIOS in order to support 48GB memory modules. Users only need to install the new modules to enjoy the benefits of expanded RAM storage.
