EA has announced the company will be shutting down Apex Legends Mobile, less than a year after its initial launch.

Despite the success, the team has shared that “the content pipeline has begun to fall short of bar for quality, quantity, and cadence.” As a result, the company has decided to sunset the project on May 1st 2023.
No Refunds For Apex Legends Mobile Microtransactions

Apex Legends Mobile has been a popular battle royale shooter since its debut last year. In fact, it recently won the best overall game award on Google Play Store, and iPhone Game of the Year from Apple’s App Store Awards.

However, players will not be able to make any in-app purchases that involve real money while users can spend their existing Syndicate Gold and play the game without any issue.
EA has further stated that there will be no refunds for players who have purchased microtransactions for the game.
