Apple has launched the new Mac mini lineup for 2023, available in M2 or M2 Pro configurations. The M2 Mac mini starts at RM2,499, while the M2 Pro Mac mini starts at RM5,599.
2023 Mac Mini Configurations
The M2 base model features an 8-core CPU and a 10-core GPU. You will also get 8GB of unified memory and 256GB of storage. The range topping M2 Pro variant is equipped with a 10-core CPU, 16-core GPU, 16GB of unified memory and 512GB of storage.
Both Mac mini configurations ship with support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
Compared to the M1 powered Mac mini, Apple says the power of the M2 Pro delivers up to 2.5x faster performance in Affinity Photo, 4.2x faster ProRes transcode in Final Cut Pro and up to 2.8x faster gameplay in Resident Evil Village.
The new lineup also means that the Mac Pro as the only remaining Mac on sale with an Intel CPU inside.
