Design

Picking up the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G, you would notice the size difference with the A53 5G. It is slightly bigger than the prior. If you have big palms you wouldn’t really notice it, however if you have smaller hands like mine it feels hard to reach the sides even though the size is not much of a difference.
We have got a unit in Awesome White, the white case gives the device a very clean look. The device is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance with additional protections from Gorilla Glass 5 to increase resistance to scratches. The matte texture to the back gives off a pleasant
On the back, we have the quad camera with a flash placed on the top left of the back case. The back case is held by a silver frame with the sim card slot placed on top, volume and power button on the right side of the device and the charging port along with speaker on the bottom of the frame. Right on the front, we have a 6.7″ FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with a punch hole front camera on the top of the display.
Performance
The Samsung A73 5G’s display supports up to 120Hz keeping your viewing experience smooth. The device is also packed with Qualcomm SM7325 Snapdragon 2.4GHz, 1.8GHz Octa-Core processor and 8GB RAM, 256GM ROM to keep applications running smoothly. Running games on the device is not a problem, but of course do not expect it to be able to run games at highest performance without lagging.
The battery life for Samsung Galaxy A73 last up to two days if you are using it just for calls and texts. The 5,000 mAh comes in handy for those that often forget to charge their phone or rely heavily on their phone all day. Even with half and hour to an hour of gaming on the device, I could still use the phone to reply text and shop online over another one and a half day. Even thought the 25W SuperFast Charge might seem a little low in comparison to other competitors Fast Charge, you are still able to get hours of battery life just with 15 mins of charge time.
Camera
For photography lovers and those whom like to take photos as they go or vlog, the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is definitely fit your social needs. The device is equipped with multiple lenses (12MP Ultra Wide Camera, 108MP Main Camera, 5MP Depth Camera and 5MP Macro Camera) to capture more details, enhancing your photography experience.
I was pretty impress by the photos taken under daylight. However when you are taking photos with dim lighting, it does challenge the processing power where it needs more time to capture the photo details and would blur moving objects.

Conclusion
Is this smartphone worth getting? Personally the size was a little too big for me, however for those whom enjoy bigger screens for their entertainment needs or to read text can consider getting yourself this device. This device offers great battery life, great camera specifications and large display for RM 2,099 which is pretty reasonable.
The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is now available at all Samsung official distribution stores and online stores (Shopee, Lazada and Samsung Store).
