KOVOL Sprint 65W PD 4-Port GaN Fast Charger Review: Marie Kondo Level Of Charging

KOVOL sprint 65W gan fast charger review

Introducing the KOVOL Sprint 65W Charger that features the latest technology for high-speed PD Charging. This charger provides dual USB-C ports, and dual USB-A ports to support simultaneous fast charging. I’ve been having a cable management crisis lately, and I’m hoping this would solve my setup issue Marie Kondo style. Let’s take a look at whether the KOVOL Sprint 65W charger actually does its job well.

Design

KOVOL Sprint 65W PD 4-Port GaN Fast Charger Review: Marie Kondo Level Of Charging

The design of the KOVOL Sprint 65W Charger looks very sleek and compact. The body is tall, narrow and slightly curved on the edges. How it differs from other 65W GaN chargers in the market is that it has a power cord that extends the distance of the charging adapter from the wall socket/power plug. This is great if your desk setup is a bit further from the wall or the nearest socket.

This cuboid shaped charger has a matte finish all around the case except the section where the USB and Type C ports are. The ports are positioned close to each other to fit the compact design. In between the 4 ports are labeled ‘QC’, which means Quick Charging, and ‘PD’ which means Power Delivery so if the device supports QC or PD charging, then charging it with this adapter will be faster and more power efficient.

On one side of the body and on the ports section, there is a KOVOL logo embossed on it. The ports also have a turquoise lining on the inside instead of the usual white.

Build Quality

Looking at the build quality, the charger feels solid and sturdy. It has a certain heft to it, which gives it a reassurance that this charger is reliable and safe. After shaking it and tugging on the wires, it is safe to say that the 2-pin detachable power cord has a solid core and nothing within the charger itself is loose or fragile.

User Experience

After using the KOVOL Sprint 65W Charger for about two weeks now, I absolutely love it. Not only has it solved all my cable management issues, but it has also increased my work efficiency because my phone, tablet and laptop get fully charged so quickly from just one outlet.

Back then, I had to keep swapping out different charging adapters just to charge different devices. Now, I no longer need to swap any charging adapters, and my power socket powers my laptop, monitor, Nintendo Switch Lite, table lamp, as well as the KOVOL Sprint 65W Charger.

Apart from that, I love that it comes with the detachable power cord as it gives me additional length to move around my electronics rather than having to sit super close to the socket, especially when I want to use my phone or tablet while it’s charging (this is a habit of mine, please refrain from doing this yourself).

Performance

Conclusion

KOVOL Sprint 65W PD 4-Port GaN Fast Charger Review: Marie Kondo Level Of Charging

If you’re someone that is looking for a charger that has both USB-C and USB-A ports, and has a detachable extension cord, the KOVOL Sprint 65W is for you. It also comes with flexibility in terms of movement rather than being restricted to the length of your wires. Plus, if your devices support either QC or PD, trust that your devices will get the fastest charging speed it can get. Does it “spark” joy? Yes it does!
