The Acer Group Joins RE100, Commits to 100%
Renewable Energy Use by 2035
The Acer Group announced that it has joined the RE100 initiative and also shared a pledge to achieve 100% renewable energy use by the year 2035. In addition, Acer declared its mission to help tackle environmental challenges with its “Earthion” platform that unites the strengths of its employees and supply chain partners, and expands the circle of impact of its sustainability efforts.
In accordance with that initiative, Acer unveils the Aspire Vero notebook. It is the first product within the Earthion platform using Post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic throughout the device chassis and keyboard caps. Along with that, the Aspire Vero is packaged with 80-85% recycled paper pulp, and plastic bagging for adapter protection is reduced by using paper sleeves. Furthermore, the laptop bag and the sheet between the keyboard and screen is made with 100% industrial recycled plastic.
Design wise, the notebook stands out with unique yellow and volcano grey accents on its bumpers, and the text on the R and E keys have been inverted, calling out the 3 Re’s: reduce, reuse and recycle. The display features a lifting-hinge design that slightly elevates the notebook when opened, allowing for a more ergonomic typing experience, while AI noise suppression offers clarity during video calls. The notebook also comes with Intel® Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+), a USB Type-C port, two USB 3.2 ports and an HDMI 2.0 port for video-out.
Despite being built with environmental friendly material, Acer delivers quality built to its consumers with competitive specification. The Aspire Vero is packed with the latest 11th Gen Intel® Core™ processor with Intel® Iris® Xe graphics and up to 1 TB of M.2 SSD.
Swift X, Featuring NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30
The Swift X is the newest member to Acer’s swift series notebook, brining ultra-portable to the next level. The notebook’s premium all-metal chassis will have a variety of colors, weigh’s 1.39kg and only 17.9mm thin.
The Swift X features a 14-inch FHD IPS display with an 85.7% screen-to-body ratio, 300 nits brightness and 100% sRGB—enough for editing 4K video or getting photographs just right.
Its NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU, based on NVIDIA’s Ampere architecture, combined with up to an AMD Ryzen™ 7 5800U Mobile Processor and 16 GB of RAM offers creative professionals such as video editors or photographers plenty of power. The Swift X is packed with 2TB of SSD storage and has a fast-charging battery that offers up to 17 hours of use.

Predator Helios 500 Gaming Notebook

Three New HDR Monitors added to the Predator Gaming Portfolio
Acer has expanded its line of Predator gaming monitors with three new VESA DisplayHDR™ -Certified models: the Predator CG437K S, Predator X38 S and Predator X28.
Predator CG437K S
The Predator CG437K S is a massive 42.5-inch NVIDIA® G-SYNC™ Compatible gaming monitor with a UHD (3840×2160) display that strives to provide players with the most flexible experience possible, containing a pair of HDMI 2.1 ports that support the latest game consoles and allow for 4K 144 Hz with VRR using only a single cable. Acer today announced refreshes to each of its ConceptD creator notebook lines. All have been updated to include the new 11th Gen Intel® Core™ H-series processors and a range of GPU options, including the NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 30 Series Laptop GPUs and the latest NVIDIA® RTX™ Professional Laptop GPUs powered by the NVIDIA Ampere architecture.
ConceptD 5 and ConceptD 5 Pro Notebooks
Acer’s all-metal ConceptD 5 notebooks (CN516-72G) pair the new 11th Gen Intel® Core™ H-series processors with up to an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3060 Laptop GPU. A ConceptD 5 Pro (CN516-72P) is also available, featuring either the NVIDIA® RTX™ A5000 or NVIDIA® RTX™ A3000 Laptop GPU. The RTX A5000 Laptop GPU empowers creators with the ability to bring ray tracing and AI to the largest rendering, 8K editing, and multi-app workflows.

SpatialLabs on ConceptD
Acer today announced SpatialLabs™, a suite of experiences empowered by cutting-edge optical solutions plus display and sensory technologies that bring the virtual world to a more physical dimension, delivering stereoscopic 3D experiences in a new, intuitive way. Content literally floats in front of the screen, allowing creators to examine their creations in real-time and 360 degrees—without the need for specialized glasses.
First unveiled on a ConceptD notebook, SpatialLabs combines an eye-tracking stereo camera, a stereoscopic 3D display and real-time rendering technologies to give creators a new way to interact with their creations. The SpatialLabs Experience Center allows for flexible use of the stereoscopic 3D technology, enabling creators to view their models in stereoscopic 3D with a single click.

Acer Chromebook 317: Industry’s First 17.3-inch Chromebook
The new Acer Chromebook 317 (CB317-1H) comes with a large FHD 17.3-inch display features an anti-glare coating and is surrounded by narrow bezels. Acer Unveils New TravelMate P6 series
TravelMate P6 series is a new addition to Acer’s line of TravelMate notebooks. It is targeted for professionals who frequently work on the go.
The notebook’s 14-inch, 16:10 FHD+ (1920 x 1200) display with narrow bezels provides extra screen space to view more with less navigation. Measuring only 0.6 inches (16.8 mm), the TravelMate Spin P6 (TMP614-52) and TravelMate P6 (TMP614RN-52) are thin, portable and very light—starting from just 1.0 kg and 1.1 kg, respectively.
