This is the first we’ve heard of the Marsback Zephyr Pro, but it is actually the second iteration of the gaming mouse that has a built-in cooler. It has stronger cooling performance, less buzzing noise, and higher
Marsback Zephyr Pro – Specs

Design

The Marsback Zephyr Pro is one sturdy gaming mouse, and it looks great too. However, if you have trypophobia, it might not look as appealing due to the honeycomb shell. But, the design does help it lose a lot of weight. The lightweight chassis made of a honeycomb shell design, along with a slick matte finish all over. On the bottom edges, it is also lined with an RGB LED strip that has quite a few lighting profiles to go with it. The mouse only has a total of six buttons, but they’re all customizable with the Marsback software.
On the bottom, the mouse has two large PTFE feet to allow for smoother gliding during gaming sessions. Right beside the sensor cutout, you’ll find two additional buttons to control the lighting profile, as well as the on/off switch for the built-in fan.
Build Quality

When it comes to build quality, as soon as I took the mouse out of the box, I could feel it’s well made. There’s absolutely no flex at all on the honeycomb shell, and definitely no random rattling sounds as if there’s something loose within the mouse.
The USB cable it’s attached to is also paracord, which makes for a more durable cable, and one that reduces drag when gliding across the table/mousepad surface. Combine that with the PTFE feet, this mouse is extremely smooth and comfortable to use, both on and off the mousepad.
Comfort

The Marsback Zephyr Pro features an ambidextrous design, and my claw grip appreciates that. I have fairly big hands, but the smaller mouse still feels surprisingly comfortable to use. Because of its matte finish, it is both grease and fingerprint proof. Meaning, the mouse will still look clean after every gaming session.
Performance

Underneath the hood, on the Marsback Zephyr Pro you’ll find a PMW3389 optical sensor, along with 7 DPI settings, with the highest clocking in at 16,000 DPI. It also has a scan rate of 12,000 FPS. In terms of tracking, it can track accelerations of up to 50g, with movement speeds reaching 400in/s. Of course, these settings can all be tweaked with Marsback’s free software, and you can set up macros, and save up to five individual profiles. The OMRON switches are rated for up to 50 million clicks, but there aren’t any provided in the box if you need a replacement.
I feel the built-in cooling fan is more than a gimmick, especially for someone like me who has sweaty palms after long gaming sessions. These spinning blades may be small, but they offer quite the breeze for your palms. It’s not too strong, but just right to regulate airflow for your hands. If you’re done gaming and decide you don’t need the fan, you can easily turn it off with the button on the bottom of the mouse. Also for those wondering, I did not feel any vibration at all from the mouse, which is awesome.

Testing the mouse out in my productivity and gaming setups, it works great and offers very responsive performance. Work wise, the mouse feels smooth navigating through all my open tabs and documents. In terms of gaming, it’s snappy and I love how smooth it glides on my mousepad. Clicks are registered fast and accurate, but the only thing I’d nitpick is how sharp it sounds. Its clicks are higher pitched than most mouse I’m used to, but not to the point of annoyance.
RGB Lighting
When it comes to RGB lighting, you’ll find it all over the mouse. It’s on the click wheel, there’s the RGB strip on the bottom edge of the mouse. With the built-in cooling fan decorated with RGB too, you can see it lighting up the entire through the honeycomb shell. And the fact that it has a frosted white casing to it further illuminates the RGB nicely.
Conclusion

The Marsback Zephyr Pro is a great mouse that doesn’t just look great, but keeps your palms cool as well. It is unique in its own way, but might be a bit niche to the audience it’s reaching out to. You could always use the mouse with the fan off, and it would still be a great gaming mice. It has great RGB illumination with customizability, built-in cooling fan for sweaty palms, and high sensitivity levels for gaming. To learn more about the Marsback Zephyr Pro, check it out here.
