Lenovo today announced the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2, the new successor to the original Legion Phone Duel launched earlier this year. Being the world’s first gaming smartphone with integrated Twin Turbo-Fan Cooling and intuitive Octa-Trigger Controls, the device has now arrived in Malaysia priced from RM3,299.

Powered by the flagship Snapdragon 888 5G Mobile Platform, Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 goes further with its innovative ATA 2.0 horizontal design and cooling technologies. The integrated Snapdragon X60 5G Modem-RF System provides fast 5G performance over sub-6GHz and mmWave connections, including dual 5G SIM connectivity.

The 6.92-inch AMOLED (2460 x 1080) HDR gaming display features an ultra-fast 144Hz refresh rate and remarkable 720Hz touch sampling reaction speeds. AI-powered Pixelworks™ i6 Processor provides a premium visual experience with ultra-vivid imagery, richer colors, and sharper detail. Moreover, the flicker-free DC dimming and ultra-smooth brightness control and TÜV Rheinland®-certified to help protect gamers’ eyes from visual fatigue that comes with long hours of gaming.

In the camera department, the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 is equipped with a 44MP pop-up camera with ultra-wide 84-degree autofocus lens. Streamers can tap into real-time overlays and effects, and even use virtual avatars for new personas to thrill friends and fans.

Additionally, with a pair of 2750mAh battery on either side of the device for a sum of 5500mAh of total power, the device allows users to game longer. With ultra-fast double charging for 17 minutes for a quick boost up to 4500mAh via dual side-mounted 90W charging USB Type-C ports, a full charge takes just 30 minutes.

With eight virtual keys, players will have access to four ultrasonic shoulder keys, two rear capacitance screen touchpoints, and two in-display force touchpoints. The Octa-Triggers perfectly matches a gamer’s natural grip on the smartphone when held horizontally, allowing players to more versatility with their button bindings, while the Dual HaptiX feedback offers players a greater immersive experience.

The Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 is now available to Malaysians at Lenovo Exclusive Stores (LES) nationwide and on official stores on Lazada and Shopee. The recommended retail prices start from:

  • RM3,299 for 12GB RAM + 256GB Storage
  • RM3,899 for 16GB RAM + 512GB Storage

Between 28 June to 31 July 2021, Maxis and Hotlink users will receive a notification regarding an exclusive promotion through their Maxis and Hotlink apps. The promotion will entitle them to a complimentary Lenovo 500 Bluetooth In-Ear Headphone, worth RM189, with the purchase of a brand new Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 from selected participating stores
