Square Enix will be releasing a total of four games from the Kingdom Hearts series to the PC platform, and it will exclusively be on the Epic Games Store platform. These games will be launching on the 31st of March 2021, and we finally have their prices, but they’re not very wallet friendly.
Kingdom Hearts Series on Epic Games Store
The Kingdom Hearts series up till now has been a Playstation 4 and Xbox One exclusive game, so it’s great that the game will be ported over to the PC for PC players. The four games that will be launched are:
- Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix
- Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue
- Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind
- Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix is an HD remastered collection which includes Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (HD Remastered cinematics), Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix, as well as Kingdom Hearts Re:coded (HD Remastered cinematics). Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue
As for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue, it includes the Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD, which is a full-HD remaster. Follow Sora and Riku as they take on the Mark of Mastery exam in preparation for their coming showdown with Master Xehanort. The game also includes the Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover movie which tells the mysterious story of the Foretellers from the series’ origins. Also, you’ll get to enjoy Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep, which is a fragmentary story game that links to Kingdom Hearts III.
Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind DLC
Launched back in 2019, Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind is the second latest game in the franchise. Sora is joined by Donald Duck and Goofy, two emissaries sent by King Mickey from Disney Castle, to stop an evil force known as the Heartless from invading and overtaking the universe. The game also includes Re Mind, which is a DLC that tells the tale during the climax of Kingdom Hearts III. In this additional chapter, Sora travels to the Keyblade Graveyard determined to rescue Kairi and discovers truths that he never before imagined. The game will also come with the “Element Encoder” keyblade.
Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory
As for Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory will let you play most of the characters from the Kingdom Hearts series. This is a rhythmic music game where Sora will be interacting with several Disney characters as they lend you a hand in your musical battles.

What do you think of their prices? We think they’re a little pricey for our taste, but it shouldn’t be too much of an issue if you’re a real Kingdom Hearts fan and can’t be bothered to purchase a Playstation 4/5 or Xbox One.
