The JOI Book SK3000 is JOI’s first ever laptop that features Always On connectivity with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (ARM-based) onboard. To further compliment the “Always On” moniker, the laptop is also equipped with 4G LTE connectivity and a long lasting battery life.

Normally, you’d see the name Snapdragon appear in smartphones, but this time it’s in a laptop as Windows is focusing on having Snapdragon processors on their machines. The JOI Book SK3000 is running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1-based memory for storage.

For the laptop’s display, it has a 12.5-inch Full HD display that can output 1920 x 1080 resolutions without compromising on viewing angles, thanks to the IPS (in-plane switching) panel. To handle graphics, the Qualcomm Adreno 630 is onboard to compliment the laptop’s display.

Running on Windows 10 Pro, the JOI Book SK3000 has built-in cellular connectivity and its battery is capable of lasting up to 10 hours on a single charge. The laptop has a 4,500mAh battery that supports USB Type-C for fast charging capabilities.

The JOI Book SK3000 features a thin and light design, and utilizes a fanless approach for modern computing and mobility. The device measures less than 15mm in thickness and weighs only a mere 1.05KG. This makes it ultra portable and can be fitted anywhere in a handheld bag or backpack.

With its built-in cellular connectivity, the JOI Book SK3000 can also turn into a mobile hotspot for your other devices like your smartphone and tablets.

The JOI Book SK3000 is officially priced at RM2,199, and pre-orders have already begun nationwide. To sweeten the deal, every purchase of the JOI Book SK3000 will come with a few free gifts which include a Microsoft 365 Personal (ESD), a box of 50pcs 3ply disposable face mask, and a JOI® backpack.
