There’s also a new photo mode, as well as support for the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback. You can choose to play the game in Performance Mode which runs at 60FPS, or Graphics Mode which prioritizes 4K graphics.

If you do own the Final Fantasy 7 Remake for PS4, you are eligible to upgrade and carry your save data over to the PS5 for free. However, PS5 Digital Edition users will not be able to upgrade their physical PS4 copies to the PS5 Digital Edition.

As for Intergrade, it introduces an all-new episode where you can play as ninja Yuffie Kisaragi to “infiltrate Shinra Corporation to steal a powerful materia and restore glory to her homeland.” Intergrade will be released alongside the PS5 upgrade on 10th June 2021, thought the additional cost is currently unspecified. There will be two variants to the game, the standard edition costs $70 USD, while the digital deluxe edition will cost $90 which includes the new Yuffie episode, a digital “mini soundtrack”, and a digital art book.
