Design
The VivoBook 15 OLED comes in a matte black chassis, it is comfortable to hold on and does not leaves fingerprint marks on it. On the right of the top chassis, the brand and model name is etched elegantly on it giving it a minimalist look.

Opening the top lid, you will be welcomed by the OLED display with the webcam sitting on top of it and the ASUS VivoBook logo on the bottom of the screen. Along with that, we have a full fledged keyboard with numpad for your convenience. Tucked below the keyboard would be the touch pad with a mini fingerprint reader on the top right.
Display
The biggest selling point of the ASUS VivoBook 15 OLED would be the OLED display, the 15.6 inch FHD OLED display is able to support 100% DCI-P3 color range. Making visuals more vivid and true. No matter it is set to low brightness or at full brightness, you are still able to get 100% true colors from the display. Comparing it to non-OLED display it is actually a very huge difference even with FHD displays.

ASUS brought in the NanoEdge design to bring us a 85% screen-body ratio display. The display also supports up to 178° wide view to reduce reflective disturbance no matter when you are using it for gaming or casual entertainment.
As most laptop’s nowadays do, the VivoBook 15 OLED reduces blue-light by 70% and is certified by TÜV Rheinland and SGS for eye protection. While this is not the priority for some of the consumers out there, we feel that this is quite important especially for adults like us whom has to be in front of the laptop all day round. Even by working on the laptop for long hours, it didn’t tire my eye which allows me to focus more on my work.
User Experience
Using the VivoBook 15 OLED for the full week has been a great experience so far. Having a 15.6 inch display with such vivid colors made me hesitant to return to my non-oled PC and my laptop. Not only the display is great, the size is just fine for those who work from home without a bigger monitor. Bigger screen allows you to pull up multiple windows to work side by side with. Well, why did I mention for those who work from home is because that despite being light weighted, I am not a fan of bringing big devices around for meetings and what not. But I guess you got to give and take of what suits you best and if you mind carrying it around much.

The VivoBook 15 OLED has all the connectivity ports that you need. On the left, you will have 2 USB-A port. While on the right, would be the charging port, HDMI port, USB-A, USB-C, Audio Port and a micro SD card reader.

As mentioned earlier, we have a keyboard with numpad that is comfortably placed on the VivoBook 15 OLED. Apart from the arrow keys that feels a little bit squashy, the keyboard is comfortable to type on.

Design wise, ASUS decided to light up the key board with a color-blocked Enter key with a florescent green border and font color to give it a young touch. Best thing so far would be that none of they keys or touchpad leaves fingerprints to touch which is pleasant for those whom are picky with it.
Performance
Powered by AMD Ryzen 7 5700U with Radeon Graphics with 8GB RAM and 512 PCIe® SSD, it is more than enough to handle your daily heavy work load. I have tried throwing in Genshin Impact to run and to my surprise, it ran smoothly without lag. The storage is expandable, so do feel free to add on storage and RAM as needed. The VivoBook 15 even comes with a HDD kit for you to install additional HDD yourself.

Watching videos and playing games are awesome due to the vivid color display. However, do note that the display is cap at 60Hz display. The laptop comes with awe-inspiring Harman Kardon-certified audio to enhance your entertainment experience.
Battery Life
The VivoBook 15 OLED is packed with a 42WHrs, 3S1P, 3-cell Li-ion battery. On a full charge you are able to get around 7 hours of work time on the best-battery life setting. It is not the best so far, but it is just right for you to go around your day without a charger.
Conclusion
ASUS did not disappoint us with the OLED display, in fact it is hard to go back to the usual display after having such a clear and vivid display to work on. Considering the price point of RM 3,499, it is definitely worth the grab if you are looking for a device with bigger screen and to work with all day long. With the price, you are also getting Microsoft Office – Home & Student 2019 along with the laptop.
