AMD announced the AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO workstation CPU, in standalone packaging. These workstation chips weren’t readily available in the market, but it seems AMD will be selling them individually, and customers will soon be able to build their own beast of a PC with the chip.

The AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 3995WX, 3975WX, and 3955WX processors pair up to 64 cores, with 8 channels of memory, and 128 PCIe Gen 4 lanes. To top it all off, it is also equipped with the powerful and reliable AMD PRO Security technologies that workstation users rely on, including AMD Secure Processor and AMD Memory Guard.

The AMD Secure Processor is a powerful, integrated, dedicated security processor designed to establish a hardware root-of-trust to help secure the processing and storage of sensitive data and trusted applications. As for AMD Memory Guard, it helps secure your entire system memory with AMD Ryzen PRO processors, the world’s only processor family with full memory encryption as a standard feature.
