Bet you never saw Xiaomi x Mercedes-AMG coming. That’s right, Xiaomi also announced two new electric scooters during its ecosystem product launch, but what got our attention was the one scooter that was made with Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team Edition.

The special Xiaomi x Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 collab scooter was made with the Electric Scooter Pro 2. As of this writing, Xiaomi hasn’t revealed if the scooter has any extra upgrades for the special edition scooter, nor do we know its pricing. But according to the company, we’ll need to stay tuned to its release without any estimated date or time frame for the announcement.

Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2

As for the Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 itself, it is powered by a 300W brushless DC motor. It also comes with a double braking system by utilising a 120mm ventilated disc brake as well as eABS regenerative anti-lock brake. In terms of speed, it can go up to 25KM/h and can go for a maximum of up to 45KM range. It has the ability to climb 20% incline slopes, and has a 8.5-inch shock-absorbing pneumatic tyres. The best part is, the scooter can easily be folded in just three seconds.

When night time comes, the Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 has reflectors on the front, rear, and even the sides. Illumination wise, there’s an upgraded 2W headlight that can light up to 10 metres. Powering this 14.2KG machine is a large 12,800mAh battery.

Pricing and Availability

The Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 is priced at EUR 499, but there isn’t any mention yet on local pricing or availability.
