POCO M3 Debuts In Malaysia; Features SD662 CPU And 6,000mAh Battery Priced From RM599

The POCO M3 has officially been unveiled, just a few months after the arrival of its successful POCO X3 NFC sibling in Malaysia. Being the first POCO smartphone to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662, the POCO M3 also offers a stylish design and formidable price to performance ratio to customers.

The POCO M3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, which is built on the 11nm process. For its memory configuration, it is paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. For its display, it has a 6.53-inch panel that can output FHD+ resolution, and has a mini dewdrop notch in the center top of the phone’s screen.

In the camera department, the POCO M3 has a triple camera system on the rear which comprises of a 48MP wide angle main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front in charge of selfies and video calls is an 8MP wide angle main sensor.

Connectivity wise, the POCO M3 has Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, an infrared port, and still retains the 3.5mm audio jack. Speaking of audio, it also has a stereo speaker system. On the back, there’s also the fingerprint sensor.

Keeping the POCO M3 juiced up is the large 6,000mAh battery, with support for 18W fast charging via USB Type-C 2.0. The device does come in a few colours – Black, Yellow, Blue, and etc.

Pricing And Availability

Starting from November 27, the POCO M3 will be available in Malaysia in two variants – 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB, in Cool Blue and Power Black. The availability of POCO Yellow will be announced at a later date. Both variants will be available for purchase online exclusively on Xiaomi Official Store Global on Lazada at a price of RM 599 and RM 699 respectively. 

Consumers who are keen to purchase can grab the devices at early bird prices of RM 499 for the 4GB+64GB variant and RM 599 for the 4GB+128GB variant, while stocks last. In addition, those who purchase the M3 on November 27 will receive a free gift, Mi In-Ear Headphones Basic Piston Earphone, while stocks last.
