We finally get a good look at the Xiaomi Mi TV Stick. The company officially announced it, and from its name, it is an Android TV device. All you need to do is to plug it into your TV HDMI’s port, and you’re good to go. But wait, there’s more.

The Mi TV Stick is an Android TV device, so it comes integrated with all the Google goodness, including Google Assistant. But more importantly, there’s Chromecast onboard as well. This means you can stream almost any content from any Android smartphone. In terms of audio enjoyment, this small stick even has support for Dolby and DTS Surround Sound.
But because of its size, there are some setbacks sacrificed. The Xiaomi Mi TV Stick can only output resolutions of up to Full HD. If you’re chucking it into a 4K TV, you might not get the best resolution results. Apart from that, the device does have a Bluetooth remote included, complete with a dedicated Netflix and Amazon Prime buttons.
Pricing and Availability
The Xiaomi Mi TV Stick will be priced from 39.99 Euros, and judging from the currency revealed with the price, it will most likely be distributed in Europe first. Xiaomi Malaysia has not mentioned any local availability, but rest assured, we’ll keep you updated when they do.
