Always wanted a big(ger) screen TV? Xiaomi might be making your wish come true as it’s going to bring in its Mi TV series to Malaysian shores.
Xiaomi Mi TV
Popularly known as the bang-for-buck smart TVs, we’ve always seen these TVs being put up on display at Mi Stores nationwide. However, they were never for sale because these products were never officially launched or brought in. If any Malaysians would want to get their hands on one, they’d need to source them by importing it themselves from Taobao China, or to purchase them from parallel importers.

Well, that’s about to change as a Xiaomi representative has stepped forward and commented that the company does plan on releasing the Mi TV series in Malaysia very soon. According to an interview by Amanz with Xiaomi’s Country Manager for Malaysia and Singapore, Nicholas Shi, consumers can expect to see the arrival of Mi TV in our market by this year (2020).
Additionally, he also added that Xiaomi also plans to bring in more IoT products including the Mi Watch, Mi Gaming Monitor, Mi Robot Vacuum Mop Pro, and more. There were no exact dates for when the launch will happen, but we can just cling on to the promise made that it will arrive this year.

Do stay tuned to The AXO for when the official launch will happen, as we’ll definitely keep you updated. Will you purchase a new TV soon or will you wait for the Mi TV?
