Back in April, Xiaomi’s Country Manager for Malaysia and Singapore, Nicholas Shi has revealed in a media interview that the company will be releasing more Xiaomi IoT products into the Malaysian market. It may not be the new gaming monitors or smart TVs, but these new devices are indeed a start.
Xiaomi IoT

First, we have the Mi Wi-Fi Range Extender Pro, which will arrive on the 25th of June 2020. The device works to increase the Wi-Fi range in your home by repeating the signal from your router.
Having two external antennas, the Mi Wi-Fi Range Extender Pro is powered by a MediaTek chip. You can easily set it up with the Xiaomi Mi Home app. We have a unit, and it really took less than 2 minutes to have everything setup. It’s capable of delivering speeds of up to 300Mbps, and manage 16 devices simultaneously. Do take note that the device does only support the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band.

Apart from that, Xiaomi Malaysia will also be making two other devices available – a Mi Ionic Hairdryer that lets you dry your hair with ionic features to reduce frizziness. And also a Mi Robot Vacuum 1C, which vacuums and mops at the same time.
