After the Vivo V20 SE, vivo Malaysia finally announced the upcoming arrival of the V20 and V20 Pro in Malaysia. As the latest addition to its V20 series in the local market, both V20 and V20 Pro sports an ultra-sleek and light design that gives users an ideal grip. They also come in beautiful colours such as Sunset Melody, Midnight Jazz and Moonlight Sonata.
Vivo V20 Pro
The Vivo V20 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. That also means it has 5G connectivity, and its display is a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel, with support for HDR10.
In the camera department, it has a triple camera system which features a 64MP main wide sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there’s a 44MP main wide sensor, with an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor.
Connectivity wise, there’s Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. The Vivo V20 Pro is powered by a 4,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging via USB Type-C.
Vivo V20
As for the Vivo V20, it has most of the same specs as the Vivo V20 Pro, but it does have some peculiar differences here and there. The processor is swapped out for Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G. It has the same memory configuration, but it does get an additional microSD card slot for expansion, whereas the Pro variant doesn’t.
The cameras are the same as the Pro variant, with the front camera only having one 44MP main wide sensor, with the 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor removed. Apart from that, the Vivo V20 does have a 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, and a newer Bluetooth 5.1.
Besides, V20 and V20 Pro are available in signature Midnight Jazz colour, while each also carries an exclusive colour like Sunset Melody and Moonlight Sonata. The V20’s Sunset Melody colour comes in warm tropical hues reminiscent of sunset beaches with a burst of glowing colour, whilst V20 Pro’s Moonlight Sonata colour is as pristine as full moonlight cascading on a serene ocean.
