Months after the Vivo V17 was released, the company has announced a new variant in the V17 lineup. The new variant is exactly similar with the V17, with the only difference being the storage capacity.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor, the vivo V17 has a CPU that is built on the 11nm process. Originally having 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, this new variant will have the same amount of RAM, but half the storage space at 128GB. The Vivo V17 also has a large 6.44-inch FHD+ (2400 x 1080) display.

To recap, in the camera department, the vivo V17 has a quad camera system on the rear. It comprises of a 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, 2MP super macro sensor, as well as a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, you will a keyhole notch housing the 32MP selfie camera.

Keeping the device powered throughout the day is a 4,500mAh battery that supports dual-engine 18W fast charging. Connectivity wise, the vivo V17 has a USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.

Pricing and Availability

The vivo V17 128GB storage variant will be priced at RM1,299 and is available for purchase from selected vivo concept stores, authorised dealers, collaboration partners and e-commerce platform such as Lazada, Shopee, vivo Store. This new variant will also come in two colours – one in Crystal White and the other in Admiral Blue.

As for the 256GB variant of the Vivo V17, it received a price adjustment during the Chinese New Year, down from its original price of RM1,699 to RM1,499.
