Ubisoft has recently announced that it will be launching its much-anticipated game, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, one week earlier than planned. To be more precise, the release date for the aforementioned game is now slated for 10th November. Interestingly, this date also coincides with the launch of Microsoft’s Xbox Series X and Series S consoles—probably not so much of a coincidence.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to Launch on 10th November
For those who may remember, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was originally planned to be released on 17th November on all major gaming platforms. It seems that with the recent release date announcement from Microsoft with regards to the company’s newest generation consoles, Ubisoft has decided to capitalise on this ‘opportunity’.
The game’s producer, Julien Laferrière, mentioned “We are excited to announced that players will be able to discover Assassin’s Creed Valhalla sooner than expected!” Those aside, it will be interesting to see how well this game will do sales-wise, especially given the fact that Cyberpunk 2077 is expected to be released only a few weeks later (19th November)—assuming it doesn’t get delayed, again.
