The Sony WF-SP800N is also packed with Sony’s Extra Bass technology, so you’d definitely get to enjoy that powerful, punchy, and low-end audio experience. Sony also mentioned that users can actually fine tune its audio output by using the Headphones Connect companion app, and adjust them to their liking.
Not only that, the Sony WF-SP800N also supports Sony’s 360 Reality Audio feature, which offers a custom immersive audio filed that’s optimised for each individual when they use the app.
Volume adjustments can be made by placing a finger on either sides of the earbuds, the Smart Control Technology. The Sony WF-SP800N also has wear detection that can detect when the earbuds are taken out or put in. Audio would automatically pause when the earbuds are removed, and automatically resume when they’re put back in.
The Sony WF-SP800N also features Smart Listening technologies like Adaptive Sound Control and Ambient Sound Mode. The first feature lets you adjust ambient sound settings automatically according to the current environment, while the ambient sound mode feature lets you customise the level of ambient audio using the Headphones Connect app. Of course, you can summon up your phone’s respective assistants like Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa as well.
In terms of battery life, Sony claims that the WF-SP800N can last for 9 hours of music listening on a full charge. Coupled with the charging case, it can last up to 18 hours with noise cancellation activated, and 26 hours with the feature turned off. To charge it back up, a 10 minute quick charge can give you another 60 minutes of playback.
The Sony WF-SP800N truly wireless sport headphones will come in black, blue, orange, and white colours. No price has been revealed yet, but it will be available in Malaysia from the month of July 2020.
