Apart from the Sony Playstation 5 console itself, we also got to take a look at the list of brand new accessories that are made to go with the PS5.
Sony Playstation 5 – Accessories
Sony also unveiled some of the accompanying accessories that will go with the Playstation 5. These include:
- Playstation HD Camera
- Playstation Media Remote
- Playstation 3D Audio Headset
- Playstation DualSense Charging Stand
Playstation HD Camera

The new Playstation HD Camera features two FHD (1080p) lenses, and will likely replace the old PS4 camera accessory. This new camera hopes to make it easier for amateur streamers to go live with their PS5 right from the comfort of their living rooms.
Playstation PULSE 3D Headset

The PULSE 3D wireless headset will also replace the Playstation Gold wireless headset, and on top of that, provide 3D audio support. This is a major feature that Sony has pushed for in the PS5, and it comes complete with dual noise-cancelling microphones.
Playstation Media Remote

Given how you can interact with the PS5 right from your DualSense 5 controller, Sony also introduced a media remote. Resembling an ordinary remote, the devices features a built-in microphone for voice commands. Apart from that, there are also four unmarked buttons on the bottom part of the remote. It isn’t clear what these are for yet, but we’ll find out soon enough.
Playstation DualSense Charging Station

As its name implies, the DualSense Charging Station charges two DualSense controllers simultaneously. Hmm, makes sense (see what I did there). What’s interesting is that it doesn’t appear to use the regular USB Type-C port located at the top of the controller to charge, but instead it connects through a separate accessory dock at the bottom. And obviously, the design matches the black and white coloruway of the controllers as well as the console itself.

Pricing and Availability
No prices has been announced for the Sony Playstation 5 and its list of accessories, but these will all presumably go on sale together with the Playstation 5 console this holiday season. That’s an October to December window, just in time for Christmas.
