Samsung has announced that it will be bringing some of the new features on the Galaxy S20 series to users of the Galaxy S10 and Note10 series via a software update.
Samsung’s Signature Single Take Feature
These features include the latest Single Take feature, where one snap is all its takes for the phone’s AI to help you create a multitude of picture and video styles. The improved night mode will be available on the Galaxy S10 series, while the Night Hyperlapse feature will be available on both the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note10 series.
Also coming to the S10 and Note10 series is the Custom Filter feature where you can create your own filter with colors and styles you like from a favourite photo. This filter can then be re-used with your other photos.
When it comes to video, users will be getting the Pro Video mode. This gives you even more control over things like ISO, shutter speed, and even exposure level. Not only that, it also allows your to switch between the rear and front cameras while recording video.
Additionally, the Clean View and Quick Crop feature will be added with this update as well. The former is to help organize your content with the help of AI, while the latter lets you easily crop your photos to your desired size.
On the other hand, Quick Share lets you share your multimedia files with nearby contacts, and for Music Share, you can extend your paired Bluetooth connection, without disconnecting for a friend to play their music on a speaker or car stereo.
If you haven’t gotten the update, do be patient as it might take a while for Samsung to get the update to reach you. Sooner or later, that update notification will pop on your device, so hang tight.
