Samsung did not shy away from the CES stages as it unveiled a whole new array of high-quality screens. What caught our eye was the Samsung Q950TS TV, which is an 8K QLED TV that practically doesn’t have any bezels.
Truly immersing the viewer into its content, the Samsung Q950TS has a TV frame that is only 2.3mm thin. This display outputs imagery much like how a projector would, but at a much higher quality. It boasts a 99% scree-to-body ratio, compared to a 95% ratio found on most standard TVs.

As for the screen itself, it is only 15mm thick and features a high-definition 8K resolution QLED panel. Apart from that, it also has a FALD backlighting feature. This gives it a new “local power distribution” feature which enhances the brightness up by 20% and reduces any stray illumination.
Embedded in the Samsung Q950TS TV is also an upgraded quantum processor that has AI upscaling. This means the TV can actually teach itself on how to improve picture quality over time. That’s not all, the TV is also equipped with exceptional antiglare qualities.

Samsung have not released any pricing or availability information on the Samsung Q950TS 8K QLED TV. That being said, do stay tuned to The AXO for updates on when (or if) it becomes available.
