Samsung Odyssey G7 and G9 Gaming Monitors are now official in Malaysia. Samsung Malaysia first announced the arrival of the G7, and now the G9 follows suit. We now have both its prices, availability, and the freebies that come along with each purchase.
Samsung Odyssey G7 Gaming Monitor
To recap, the Samsung Odyssey G7 comes in two sizes – 32-inch and 27-inch. Both models have a QLED panel that supports a 2560 x 1440 pixel, with an aspect ratio of 16:9. Their refresh rates are clocked at 240Hz, and they support VESA Display HDR 600 and Nvidia G-Sync as well.
In addition, the monitor also has a fast response time of 1ms (GtoG) that allow almost instantaneous application of mouse commands. Also, the Odyssey G7 has been awarded the Eye Comfort certification by TÜV Rheinland, a certification organization that sets global standards of quality.
Both these displays have a screen curvature of 1000R which is larger compared to the standard curvature 1800R used a few years back.
Samsung Odyssey G9 Gaming Monitor
As for the Samsung Odyssey G9 gaming monitor comes witha 49-inch QLED panel and it supports a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels, with a 32:9 aspect ratio. It also has support for VESA DisplayHDR 1000 and Nvidia G-Sync capabilites. Just like the Odyssey G7, it has a 1000R screen curvature.
