The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has been around for a few months, but now there’s a 5G version of the smartphone, complete with upgraded specs and new colourways – Mystic Bronze, and Gray. Apart from the cosmetic change and 5G, what else changed?
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G runs on a newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor, but is still paired with 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage configurations. The device still has the 3,300mAh battery that supports the Wireless PowerShare feature. It also does have fast charging on both wired and wireless modes.
“At Samsung, we continue to put the power of 5G in millions of consumers’ hands. We continually demonstrate our commitment to make 5G more accessible to more people,” “We are excited to bring next-generation speed and connectivity to the Galaxy Z Flip which further expands our portfolio of 5G devices, empowering consumers with meaningful experiences to help them do more of what they love.”Dr. TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics.
The screen of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G remains the same at a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity Flex display, with a 1.1-inch Super AMOLED display on the front that shows notifications. It also acts as a viewfinder when taking selfies with the phone’s main camera. Camera wise, it’s the same too with:
- 12MP f/1.8 Dual Pixel main sensor
- 12MP ultra-wide angle f/2.4 sensor
- 10MP f/2.4 in-display camera sensor
