The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite was announced by Samsung Malaysia, which is a lite and more affordable version of the current Galaxy Tab S6. Despite having “Lite” in its name, the device is priced at half the price of the Tab S6, and it still comes with an S Pen.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite runs on an Exynos 9611 processor, which is the same CPU as the one in the Galaxy A51. It is paired with 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD up to 1TB). For its display, it has a 10.4-inch FHD+ panel with a 2000 x 1200 pixel resolution in a 5:3 aspect ratio.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite also has a dual-speaker system which are tuned by AKG with Dolby Atmos enhancement. In the camera department, there’s an 8MP main sensor on the back, and a 5MP sensor on the front for selfies and video conferencing.
Keeping the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite juiced up is a 7,040mAh battery. According to Samsung, it is capable of lasting up to 13 hours of video playback, with support for adaptive fast charging via USB Type-C. You will also find a 3.5mm audio jack on the tablet. Right out of the box, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite does run on Samsung’s One UI 2.0, which is based on the Android 10 operating system.
Pricing and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite can now be purchased from Authorized Samsung Stores for the price of RM1,699. It will be available in two colours – Oxford Gray and Angora Blue.
