Several months after the realme X50, the realme X50 Pro 5G finally makes its debut with beastly specs on paper. Let’s dive deeper and take a look at what the Pro variant of the X50 has to offer apart from 5G connectivity.
The Realme X50 Pro 5G packs Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865 processor, which has dual-mode 5G (SA/NSA) networking already built right in. It is also paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to dual-channel UFS 3.0 256GB of storage.
As for its display, it features a 6.44-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display that has a 90Hz refresh rate (180Hz sampling rate). That’s a 92% screen-to-body ration with 1000 nits peak brightness on the X50 Pro 5G. Apart from that, it also supports HDR10+.
To keep the X50 Pro 5G cool, the smartphone also comes with a highly efficient VC cooling system that consists of a upper double-layer graphite film, vapor chamber, thermal conductive gel, multilater copper foil, and a bottom double-layer graphite film.
In the camera department, the realme X50 Pro 5G has a total of six cameras from both the front and the rear. The rear setup consists of:
- 64MP f/1.17 – Main Sensor
- 12MP – Telephoto Sensor (20x Hybrid Zoom)
- 8MP – Ultra-wide and Macro Sensor
- 2MP f/2.4 – Portrait Sensor
As for the front, there are two cameras housed in a dual punch-hole notch on the top left of the display. The selfie cameras are also capable of UIS stabilisation and slow-mo selfies, like the one on the iPhone 11 series. You would be taking selfies with the:
- 32MP f/2.0 – Main Sony IMX616 Sensor
- 8MP f/2.2 – 105-degree Wide Sensor
Powering the device is a 4,200mAh battery that supports SuperDart 65W fast charging. With that, it could charge from 0 to 100% in just 35 minutes. Apart from that, the device runs on Realme UI that is based on Android 10, complete with USB Type-C connectivity, as well as an in-display fingerprint sensor. It also has a super linear speaker design, dual GPS system as well.
