After making its debut in India, Indonesia, and Thailand, the next entry-level smartphone from Realme is finally making its way to Malaysian shores. Dubbed the realme C3, it’s packed with more than enough power despite being a budget smartphone.
realme C3 – Specifications
The realme C3 is the first smartphone in Malaysia to be powered by a Helio G70 processor. It is also paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Fans will be happy to know that the C3 does come with a triple card slot. This lets you use two SIM cards simultaneously, while expanding storage up to 256GB in the form of a microSD card.
As for its display is using a 6.5-inch Mini-drop display with HD+ resolution. Running on realme UI 1.0 that is based on Android 10, the realme C3 packs a huge 5,000mAh battery. It supports reverse charging via the microUSB port. Also, realme made sure to retain the 3.5mm audio jack on the C3 to maximise earphone compatibility.
In the camera department, the realme C3 has a tri-camera setup on the back. It consists of a primary 12MP wide-angle f/1.8 sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, as well as a 2MP portrait sensor. On the front, you will find a 5MP f/2.4 sensor in charge of selfies. Both the primary sensors on the front and back support 1080p video recording, as well as realme’s AI HDR and beauty algorithm features.
Pricing and Availability
The realme C3 will be available for RM499 in Malaysia from the 7th of March 2020. It features a Sunrise design, draped in either the Frozen Blue or Blazing Red colours.
