The realme C17 was also announced alongside the newly launched realme 7i. Bearing similarities with the realme 7i, the realme C17 has quite a lot of features the realme 7i has.
The realme C17 is equipped with a 6.5-inch HD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. However, when it comes to processing power, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor instead of a 662. It is also paired with 6GB of RAM and a large 256GB of storage.
In the camera department, it has a quad-camera system as well. These sensors include a main 13MP main sensor instead of a 64MP sensor, an 8MP wide angle sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP monochrome sensor. On the front, in charge of selfies and video calls is an 8MP sensor, rather than a 16MP sensor. Seems like you’re swapping out camera and processor power for more storage.
Connectivity wise, the realme C17 also has Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The battery on the device is the same 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging via USB Type-C. When it comes to colours, the device will be available in two colours – Navy Blue and Lake Green.
Pricing And Availability
The realme C17 is priced at RM899 and its availability information has not been revealed. However, the company did announce that it will be coming soon to Digi, a local telco company. Could the smartphone be a Digi exclusive?
