A month after launching the realme 6, the company has now introduced a variant to the Malaysian market, one with a higher 8GB RAM. The announcement came from a social media post on realme’s Facebook page, one-upping the 4GB RAM base variant.
Specifications – realme 6
To recap, the realme 6 is powered by a Helio G90T processor, built on the 12nm process. The base variant was paired with 4GB of RAM, while this model will have a higher RAM count at 8GB. Everything else about the phone maintains the same. It still has a 128GB for internal storage. The display is still a 6.5-inch 90Hz Ultra Smooth Display (120Hz sampling rate) screen. On the top of the display, there’s a punch-hole notch that houses the 16MP selfie sensor, which supports smart beauty mode, bokeh effect, and more.
Apart from the announcement of the new variant, realme also announced its very own PUBG tournament with a total prize pool of RM10,000. The grand winner will also walk away with their own realme 6 smartphone. The tournament will be happening from the 28th to 30th of April 2020.
