The Razer Card was announced by Min-Liang Tan, the founder and CEO of Razer, on his Twitter profile. The Razer Card is the company’s new prepaid card, and it’s made in partnership with VISA.

The card is special in the sense that it is the brand’s first prepaid card that offers users cashback with every transaction. Backed by VISA, the card does offer a cashback system. According to Razer, users will get a 1% cashback with every purchase made with the card. Not only that, users can also get up to 5% cashback on RazerStore and Razer Gold purchases, with up to 10% cashback during the Razer Card’s beta phase.
From Min-Liang’s Twitter post, it seems there will be two variants of the Razer Card. One is just a plain black decked out card, whereas the Premium version will have a Razer logo that lights up in Razer’s iconic green when a purchase has been made.

Currently, Razer is looking for beta testers to test out the card. However, you will need to be a Singaporean to try it out. Yes, beta test is currently only available in Singapore, and it is limited to only 1,337 users. If you are a Singaporean and want to give the Razer Card a go, you can try your luck by registering for it here.
For now, we’re not sure if the Razer Card will make its way to Malaysia, but do stay tuned to The AXO as we’ll definitely keep you updated when and if it does.
